STRESS FRACTURE!
Yup. I am in a "boot" as I type, bemoaning my fate and new fashion statement.
I will NOT be running the Chicago Marathon.
There is no finish line, however, so stayed tuned. More to come - I promise!

Is it an "iron boot?" Can you kick people in the head with it like Uncle Mordecai?

I feel so bad for you!!! I know of at least 4 other TNT people on the City North team alone that are out due to stress fractures :( It makes me so worried. I think I know now why Marathon training is so frowned on by doctors and physical therapists!
